Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026 · Compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
1. Who We Are
We Work as a Team is operated by REDFROGBLACK LIMITED (Company No. 16557982), registered in England and Wales at Unit 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers, Poole, England, BH16 6FA. We operate the website weworkasateam.com — a GCSE revision platform for students. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children.
For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at kzitov@hotmail.com.
2. What Data We Collect
We minimise data collection. Specifically:
- No account registration is required to use the free access-code version
- Email addresses are optionally collected if you choose to receive quiz results by email — you can skip this step at any time
- Supabase stores account credentials (email and hashed password) for subscribers who create an account — this data is held securely on Supabase’s EU servers
- No quiz results or progress data is sent to our servers
- Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
- No analytics tracking software (e.g. Google Analytics) is installed
All quiz progress, scores, and weak spot data exists only in your browser's temporary session memory. It is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab.
3. Cookies
This website uses only a functional session cookie to maintain your access during a single browsing session (to remember that you have entered the access code). This cookie:
- Does not contain any personal information
- Is deleted automatically when you close your browser
- Is not used for advertising or tracking purposes
- Is not shared with any third parties
We do not use persistent cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.
4. Children's Privacy
We are committed to protecting children's privacy. This platform is designed for students aged 14–16. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process any personal data from children under the age of 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used this service, please contact us. Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to delete — but we will confirm this to you in writing.
This platform complies with the UK's Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code) by default — we collect no data at all.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)
As we do not collect or process personal data, UK GDPR data processing requirements are not triggered. No lawful basis for processing is required as no processing occurs.
6. Third-Party Services
This website uses the following third-party services:
- Fontshare (api.fontshare.com) — font delivery. Your IP address may be seen by Fontshare’s servers when fonts are loaded.
- Supabase (supabase.com) — EU-based authentication and database for subscriber accounts. Data is stored in accordance with Supabase’s privacy policy and GDPR.
- EmailJS (emailjs.com) — used to send quiz results emails if you opt in. Your email address is transmitted to EmailJS for this purpose only.
- Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment data; we do not store card details.
- Google Gemini AI (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) — used for AI essay feedback in the Essay Tool. Only the anonymised essay text you write and the question are sent; no personal data is transmitted.
7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access your data
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
As we hold no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. However, you may contact us at any time to confirm this.
8. Data Security
Because no personal data is collected or stored, there is no personal data at risk of breach. All quiz data remains on your own device in temporary browser memory.
9. Data Retention
We retain no personal data. Session data in your browser is automatically deleted when you close the browser or tab.
10. International Transfers
No personal data is transferred internationally, as no personal data is collected.
11. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce features that require data collection (such as user accounts), we will update this Privacy Policy and display a clear notice on the website before any data collection begins.
12. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle privacy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection regulator:
